      Jennifer L. Armentrout is a queen sitting on a throne beside Sarah J Maas. Why? Because every single one of her books has never disappointed me. I haven't read them all, but I intend to because, WOW, they are all just so good. It is guarantee that every single one of Jennifer's books is going to pull you out of a book slump. And White Hot Kiss is probably so far, my favorite of hers so far.

      White Hot Kiss has a perfectly demonically plot with a fantastic romantic plot. One of my favorite things about White Hot Kiss was the idea that instead of Angels being the "light" factor, gargoyles were AKA the Wardens. I found that this was the coolest idea ever! Usually we have the Angels and the Demons, a big war against each other with Nephilim and blah blah blah. And don't get me wrong, I actually love these plot lines as cliche they are. But the fact that Jennifer incorporated an even more unique element besides Angels made me even love White Hot Kiss more! 

      Now onto the characters. Let's start with Roth. Well, let's just say Roth was amazingly hot, I have to admit, Jennifer has some damn great talent in writing hot guys. Roth is a demon, but he has so many sides. Sometimes he's a real asshole, while other times he's a little too sweet to be a demon. Onto Layla, I loved Layla. He character's problems are legit if it were possible to be half demon, half Warden. Layla deals with constantly being pushed or cast out in some way by either the Wardens or Demons. I found she dealt with this pretty well, and in truth, I found a real hero is a hero that can deal with their own problems along with the bigger problems. Layla does just that, with Roth's help of course. Zayne. Oh Zayne, Zayne is Layla's step brother and honestly, I found his a bit strange. Zayne is the other love interest, the final piece to the ultimate love triangle. I didn't like him. I found he really didn't understand Layla as much as he tried. Though at the same time, I feel like Jennifer did this on purpose. For Layla, it's either choose Roth and betray all you've known or choose Zayne, a boy she's been in love with for like - ever, but sacrifice him in the process of loving him.

      This book was just SO AMAZING. I cannot show this in your face enough because it's just so good. Jennifer L. Armentrout's other YA series, the Obsidian series made me realize there was such a thing as a book community. Jennifer has some serious talent and I have absolutely no complaints regarding her writing skills. White Hot Kiss doesn't falter at all throughout the entire story. And I'm well aware how scandalous the title is, and if you still live with your parents, they might look at you funny like mine did. But I swear, this book lives up to it's five out of five stars. Do not question yourself if it comes you possibly buying this book or borrowing it!
